we cant ask for actual sequels because the games didnt light the charts on fire. So by your logic, we cant ask for spiritual sequels because they are not a franchise. Sony shuts down Evolution Studios after DC sold 2 million copies in a year and doesnt do a sequel. So if I were a PS fan because Sony funded these games for ten years, and then they stop, i have no reason to be pissed? They are solo games but literally sold as franchise bundled with each other. Same goes for Heavy Rain, Beyond and Detroit. They're killing all the reasons to me have a Playstation 5.Д¬lick to expand.So if a person is a PS fan because they liked Ico, SoTC and The Last Guardian, Team ICO games in general, they shouldnt feel miffed about not getting games from that studio? It is just a overpriced box that I have to pay $60 a year to play 2 or 3 games onlinne. If it does not have exclusives, I just don't need a Playstation anymore. Back in the day, it was because JRPG exclusives, a few years ago, it was about Sony's 1st party, nowadays I can play JRPG on PCs and even Sony's games. That being said, every Playstation that i got, I've bought it because exclusives. And it was enough to show me how that game was special, and how that game was and still is the best game I ever played. The first time that I played Chrono Trigger, was in 2006. It's about the art (even the ecchi ones, most of then uses some funny way to tell a story and I like it). To me games aren't just a thing to consume right there, right now. A few months ago i bought a copy of Record of Agarest War Zero to play it, and i'm waiting to finish some games to play it later. I'm playing a 2010 game on PS3, after a lot of years, yet it looks amazing to me. If I have the slightest chance to play it where it will be better (not about graphics, but mods, and not get censorship in a lot of games), i can wait even 10 years even more.

Last year I played The Witcher for the first time, a game released in 2015.

Also, in January I played Tales of Berseria for the first time.

Damn, i'm playing for the first time in years a PS2 game and i'm having a blast. It's about of how much fun you'll have when you play it. It's not about how soon you will play that game.
